How much is shipping and handling?
We charge flat-rate shipping and handling for our products. The rates are:
- Ground (1-5 days): $7.99 for the first candle plus $0.99 for each additional candle.
- 2 Day Air: $21 for the first candle plus $5.50 for each additional candle.
- Next Day Air: $48 for the first candle plus $8 for each additional candle.
Why so much? 2 reasons. #1, 90% of our candles are shipped to a residential address, for which shipping companies charge $1-3 more per shipment. #2, rising fuel costs have caused shipping companies to raise their rates. We at Very Funny Gifts realize our shoppers are sensitive to shipping and handling costs and are doing everything we can to keep this as low as possible.
